Leads, pipelines and customers
Taskploy keeps customer information, sales activity and related finance records in one place. Standard includes customers and leads; Professional adds sales pipelines and opportunities.
Customers vs leads
- Customers — active or past buyers you work with regularly
- Leads — prospects you are qualifying before they become customers
Both record types can store contact details, notes, activity history and linked documents where your plan allows.
Add a customer or lead
- Go to Sales → Customers or Leads.
- Choose New and enter name, email, phone and company details.
- Assign an owner so follow-ups are clear.
- Add tags or source information if you track marketing channels.
Work a sales pipeline (Professional+)
- Open Sales → Pipelines or Opportunities.
- Create an opportunity linked to a lead or customer.
- Move the deal through stages (for example qualified → proposal → won).
- Log notes, tasks and next steps on the opportunity record.
- Convert won deals to quotations or invoices when ready.
Online booking pages (Standard+)
Public booking pages let customers schedule appointments. Completed bookings can create or update customer records depending on your configuration.
Email from a record (Professional+)
Send email from a customer or lead record to keep communication history with the account. Bulk email campaigns require Ultimate.
Tips for clean CRM data
- Define pipeline stages that match how your team actually sells.
- Close or archive lost opportunities instead of leaving them open.
- Use one primary owner per active opportunity.
- Link invoices and projects back to the customer for full context.
